Objects and Language
A project exploring the idea that language is relative as compared to other forms of communicating ideas; figures, models, and mathematics. I created four polyhedrons with paper and tape with type wrapping around. This was to achieve believable visual distortions of the otherwise static vectors of type.
Pairing the type objects with the undistorted text of the study by Lera Broditsky on the relativity or language was intended to show the idea that translating thought to language seamlessly is improbable, if not impossible.
